The Seven-year old fellowship of movie enthusiasts started off as AFX Movie Club in Facebook on the auspicious occasion of Diwali in 2011. With the zest and support of our beloved members, we grew to be one of the most popular FB cinema groups in Kerala. We were a group of 2.5 lakh followers once. We grew closer as a group through organized meet ups and healthy FB debates on cinema around the world. We were planning for a makeover and we have now a new face.

From January 1, 2019 AFX Movie Club is known as 3rd Eye Movie Club. This will be a fantastic platform for all movie buffs to conduct healthy discussions and knowledge transfer on cinema: its aesthetics, techniques, making, message, business etc. 3rd Eye Movie Club also intends to spread its wings as a more ethically and socially responsible charitable club.

To mark the advent of our journey with this new identity and to encourage young talents aspiring to step into the field of cinema, we are conducting The 3rd Eye Short Film Festival and Awards known as TESFFA 2019. TESFFA aligns itself with the goal of our group which is to encourage raw talents and to be a helping hand in their journey towards silver screen.
