Episode 22 Overview

The episode begins with a montage of how Liam concocted the entire terrorist plot to frame Alex. In Quantico, the NATs are preparing to graduate. Liam tells Alex that Ryan is not going with him to Washington D.C. like he originally told her, but requested a transfer to Texas. Upset that Ryan lied to her again, Alex breaks it off with Ryan and cancels their vacation. Meanwhile, Shelby, still upset at Caleb for ruining her chance at bringing her parents to justice, sabotages him by taking away his luxury office in San Diego and making sure his parents did not show up for his graduation. Meanwhile, in the present, Liam arrives in New York to rally the agents to find Miranda. However, Ryan discovers that Miranda was also being watched, which does not line up with Liam's story. After visiting Liam's home, she discovers the The Voice is Liam, who has kidnapped both Ryan and Miranda and has taken them back to Quantico, where he plans to detonate the nuclear bomb. When they arrive there, Liam explains his motives: To rid the FBI of its corruption so it can start anew. Alex and Ryan manage to kill Liam. After the team discovers that the bomb cannot be stopped, Simon takes it, along with a car, and drives off, plunging himself, the car, and the bomb into a lake just as the bomb goes off, killing him but saving thousands of lives. At Simon's funeral, Alex tells Claire that she knows she had a hand in helping Liam and that the FBI is watching her. Two months later, back in Oakland and not with the FBI anymore, Alex is approached a man named Matthew Keyes, who offers her a position in another government agency: the CIA.Source:Wikepedia

Season 2 Preview & Spoilers

Simon Asher might be giving a comeback in the season 2 even though he sacrificed himself for the lives of others in hte first season.
ABC has not yet announced the exact date to broadcast the season 2, but its expected to release in somewhere ear early 2017.
